Today, the Surrey Photographic Association had their AGM and to encourage members to attend they also held an Individual Print and PDI competition for both Nature and Open categories. The catch is that you have to attend on the day to have your images judged and the results are announced after the AGM.
The open print class became a battle of the storms with two prints of stormy seas at Newhaven each gaining the top score of 14/15. After the three judges had taken their time to deliberate, it was Port in a Storm that received the Gold medal for the best Open Print.
The awards were presented by David Smith, the new President of the SPA, as his first official duty.
All the winning images and those making it to the Judges Selection can be found here.
